Dr. Patrick McMillan: Why are the Southern Appalachian Mountains Important to Preserve?

 

Speaking at the Blue Ridge Forever celebration of the preservation of 50,000 acres, Dr. McMillan explains why the southern Blue Ridge mountains are such an important ecosystem to protect. "These mountains are a crucible of life," he proclaims.
